Logosol planers

Solo Planing machine: it rips, squares and planes
The Solo Planing machine is every craftsman’s dream!
ONCE YOU BEGIN using the Solo Planing machine to the
fullest of it's capabilities, you won't be able to work without it! The
Solo Planing machine has the ability to square a piece of material while
at the same time planing it according to set dimensions. This process
is carried out by means of the simultaneous utilization of a 230 mm milling
cutter that has a circular saw positioned immediately next to it. The
milling cutter and circular saw are rotating at a speed of 6000 rpm, which
ensures a smooth cutting seam and wellground surface.
In addition to squaring and planing Logosol offers also and assortment
of pro- filing knives that make it possible to produce unique variety of
forms. Profiling knives can be used together with the planer knife and
the circular saw.

Logosol PH260 – a machine for professionals
A four side planing machine for professionals that require flexibility,
adherence to exacting standard, and ease of operation.
PROCESSING MATERIALS on a PH260 is quick, easy, and
most of all, profitable! The Logosol PH 260 is fitted with four milling
cutters and is ideal for small production series. This machine is able
to plane and perform figure processing of a board from all four sides simultaneously.
With this unit, you are able to obtain precise dimensions and a surface
finish of the highest quality. Installation of planing and profiling knives
is quick, easy and trouble-free.
A unique platform
One of the features that distinguish our machine's structure from that
of other traditional four-milling-cutter machines is that the PH260 has
a two-sided suspension that supports the horizontal milling cutters. This
feature contributes to the stability of the machine when utilizing a very
wide milling cutter. The planing frame, where lower horizontal and lateral
milling cutters are mounted, is manufactured from cast iron. The strength
offered by the cast iron frame is exceptional because it doesn't change
its shape and this contributes to preservation of the machines settings.
The PH260's small dimensions and lightweight allow it to be easily shifted
around a workshop or easily transported to an onsite work location.
Accurate results
The PH260 is intended for continuous and multi-shift industrial use.
A difference of a hold depth between the milling cutter's strikes is only
one-thousandth of a millimeter, due to which, the surface of the finished
product results in being extremely true, smooth and even. You won't see
a difference in the quality of the processing on PH260 when compared to
a machine costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The PH260's arrangement of having the figure knives located between the
planing knives on an axle is unique.
This arrangement allows you to choose a profile of the board's planing
according to the client's wishes. Logosol offer a wide variety of cataloged
figure knives, and for a relatively modest price, we can manufacture knives
in accordance to your custom configuration.
Flexibility
The maximum planing depth of the upper horizontal milling cutter is 8
mm. This provides you with extensive possibilities for correction of sawing
mistakes or imperfections in the wood. This, in addition to the opportunity
to simultaneously profile a board with a lateral milling cutter, really
exhibits the flexibility that is built into this machine. The PH260's
standard equipment includes knives for the upper and lower horizontal
milling cutters, as well as 50- millimeter knives for the lateral milling
cutters. The diameter of the spool's axle for the lateral milling cutter
is 30 mm.
This allows you to not only use Logosol brand cutter knives but also
most commonly available milling systems knives currently on the market.

Logosol DH 410
A double milling cutter with the ability to plane blanks with
a width up to 410 mm
WITH THE DH410 it is possible to process planks with
a width of 410 mm and thickness of 260 mm. For a profile (figure) planing,
there are four slots on the upper horizontal milling cutter. This offers
you the opportunity to profile and plane simultaneously. On the left side
of the frame, there is a lateral milling cutter, which planes and mills
a plank on one side. To accomplish four-sided profiling or planing, it's
necessary to process the blank twice. Maximum dimensions for the four-sided
profiling are: width 310 mm, and thickness 100 mm. This means that you
can create practically everything from the beams used in log frame structures,
to the paneling used to cover the walls, and the thin lath strips used
to detail the walls.
A difference of a hold depth between a milling cutter's strikes is only
one-thousandth of a millimeter, due to which the finished product's surface
results in being extremely true, smooth and even.
The DH410's arrangement of having the figure knives located between the
planing knives on an axle is unique. This arrangement allows you to choose
the profile of board's planing according to the client's wishes. Logosol
offers a wide range of cataloged figure knives that are used to achieve
the profiles of boards commonly found in construction. If you can't find
the knife profile in our catalog that meets your needs, you can design
one yourself, and we will manufacture it for you!
