Sawmills

The M7 Sawmill Will Make Your Life More Complete
With the Logosol Sawmill you can saw a tree on site at a woodland
plot and choose an optimum size for your boards. Because it is lightweight
and easy-to-use, the sawmill provides you with the opportunity of making
a decision by yourself directly on site.
Our first sawmill appeared on the market in 1988. A combination of customer
feedback as well as our design department striving for perfection has
resulted in Logosol selling over 16,000 Logosol Sawmills worldwide!
Take Your Sawmill To The Forest
One of the main advantages of Logosol Sawmill is its mobility. You can
easilytransport your sawmill to a forest or to your cottage. Once you've
done that, all that is left for you to do is to fell a tree and subsequently
process it into boards, laths and beams.
Impressive Accuracy
Because of the sled/guide rail arrangement, the accuracy of our sawmill
is very impressive. This accuracy allows the user to saw a log into beams,
boards, or millimeter thin sheets - whatever you wish! You're only limited
by your imagination - you decide since now you're the boss!
Professional Results For The Beginner
The M7 sawmill sled assembly glides effortlessly along a stable guide
rail. You will smile with satisfaction once you witness the excellent
results that are achieved from the very first cut. Logs are lifted with
a turn of the hand-operated crank that is supported by maintenance free
bronze bearings. Visible and audible measurement gradations permit the
adjusting of the sawmills settings to be both easy and accurate. Each
sawmill comes with a detailed instruction manual that is written in English.
The Logosol Sawmill is made from anodized aluminum that is resistant to
corrosion, is lightweight, and yet very durable. The guide rails smooth
surface has a low friction coefficient, is easy to clean, and requires
minimal maintenance service. Logosol utilizes a thinner guide bar and
chain which contributes to significantly faster sawing. The result of
using a thinner guide bar and chain is that the cut taken is only insignificantly
wider than the same cut taken by a circular saw. We recommend having a
supply of four to five sharpened chains for your project. It is our experience
that one sharp chain should saw approximately four to five logs. We feel
that having four to five chains on hand should be sufficient for one day's
work.
Recommended Sawmill Engines
We recommend that you equip Logosol M7 with either a Stihl MS660 or Husqvarna
385XP petrol engine chainsaw, or a Logosol E5000 electric engine chainsaw.

Timberjig combined with the new Big Mill System
Logosol introduces our new system of sawing based on the improved
Timberjig model. We are offering a complete kit that contains brackets,
clamp-irons, rulers, angles and other accessories. The Timberjig is a
tool that gives you the possibility to fine-tune your equipment based
on your needs and working methods. As time progresses, and an operator
decides to upgrade, he can modify to his Timberjig to the Big Mill System,
the Big Mill EXT, and the M7 sawmill.
Timberjig is a fully equipped sawmill for a good price
A superior tool for working directly in the forest that offers
the operator an abundance of upgrade possibilities.
WE PROVIDE YOU with the major components needed to create
a fully functional sawmill. Before you begin sawing, you must build some
simple wooden components, specifically the guide rail and the rail supports.
Every thing you will need to assemble the guide rail and rail supports
is included in the Timberjig kit. Once this is done, you will have a unit
that saws quickly and accurately at a low cost.
THE BIG MILL SYSTEM has been improved and now comes
with clamp-irons, rulers, angles, 360° rotating guide rail supports, and
an aluminum guide rail. These components are designed to easily allow
you to expand upon your Logosol Timberjig. The Big Mill System provides
you the flexibility to adapt it to your particular needs and working methods.
For instance, two rotating guide rail supports mounted on opposite ends
of the log provide you with the means to quickly and easily process a
log on three sides without having to remove and reattach the guides before
each cut.
Additionally, the Big Mill System allows you to saw normal size logs
as well as those with significantly increased diameter. It has been our
experience that when you equip your chainsaw with a 90 cm guide bar, you
will have the flexibility to easily deal with most of the logs that you
will come across.
Some components of the Big Mill System are produced from special steel
that has been treated with nitrous oxide during its production. Steel
that has been treated this way acquires a black color, offers increased
corrosion-resistance, and becomes more durable and resistant to wear and
tear. When compared to typical zinc plating, this process is more expensive,
but we feel the resulting quality is both seen and felt. Structural components
of the Big Mill System are made from anodized aluminum, which possesses
high durability and corrosion resistance.
