Experience and expansion
When he first developed the Logosol mini-sawmill, Bengt-Olov Byström wanted
to help woodland owners access the most valuable part of the trees themselves
by sawing their own boards.
The product became a best seller and is still the backbone of the family company Logosol. Its constantly growing product range, intimate customer contacts and strong desire to develop and improve have cleared the path to Logosol’s success.
Direct sales
Started in 1989, the company’s 15 employees operate from the Logosol headquarters in Härnösand. There are direct customer sales companies in Sweden, Norway, Germany and the USA. It is our experience that selling directly from the factory to the customer provides the best customer service and an advantageous price.
In other important markets like Russia, Japan and the UK we have capable distributors. Today our products are sold in more than 65 countries worldwide, ranging from the rain forests on the Salomon Islands to the icy wide-open spaces of Alaska.
A developing family company
Logosol is owned by the Byström family and the EMANO investment company. Bengt-Olov Byström is President and leads the design and development effort. Jan Engvall is sales manager and is responsible for all daily questions relating to sales and distribution.
Over the years we have gathered know-how by listening to our customers and creating products to solve their problems. Today Logosol is the world’s largest distributor of portable, aluminium sawmills, built using a technology we have become experts on.
